 DMR Consulting, Inc. was founded by Mr. Marcus Carmichael and Mr. David Hoskins in 1998. DMR received its first delivery order with the Coastal Systems Station—Panama City in December 1998 for engineering change program planning, test and evaluation support for an upgrade to the Doppler Sonar on the MK 8 Mod 1 SEAL Delivery Vehicle. Since this initial order, DMR has continued to successfully provide a full range of service related products and support to the Department of Defense, Department of the Navy, and commercial customers. Since this initial order, DMR has continued to successfully provide a full range of service related products and support to the Department of Defense, Department of the Navy, the Office of Naval Research (ONR) and other joint military efforts.

In 2007, DMR received the “Top 100 Inc. 5000 Consulting Companies Award “ranked # 4 by Inc. 500 Magazine as “America’s Fastest Growing Companies”.  In 2010, the company’s efficiency was recognized by NAVSEA with Medallion “Total Ownership Cost Award” for the government’s cost-savings.  

In 2012, DMR became women-owned small business. Ms. Mary Carmichael President/CEO and Ms. Rachael McCrary Vice President/CFO transitioned leadership as owners. They have continued to successfully lead Team DMR.
